The Christchurch Casino ceiling looks a million dollars with the choice of Eurocoustic Tonga Noir acoustic ceiling panels providing the perfectly subtle backdrop to the razzle-dazzle of the casino interior.

As access to all points of the plenum space was a prerequisite, an acoustic tile ceiling was ideally suited to the project.

Fletcher Construction’s site manager Alistair Pearson, appreciated the ease and speed associated with the installation of panels on an Armstrong Peakform grid system. The absence of plastering and painting work in the ceiling is always a bonus for maintaining a construction program and with the black faced panels being readily available from Forman Building Systems, the all important deadlines were achieved without complication.

The excellent sound absorption of the Tonga tile ensures a plush and comfortable feeling is present, even in a room of this generous dimension. Everyone’s a winner here.
