SWURVE (R)  prefinished timber curved panels are the culmination of thirty years of product development in New Zealand.

The selected timber is steam impregnated with natural atomised ingredients drawn from air to modify the timbers cell structure and enable the curving process.

After the initial pre-bending process the final shapes are made permanent in drying press jigs which extract inherent and free moisture.

The whole process takes approximately six minutes per cycle enabling large quantities of each shape to be made for projects .

SWURVE (R) panels are available in a standard range of four shapes with double sided plywood veneer as a substrate.

Curved slats in solid timber are available in the same four shapes.

Based on relatively small minmum production runs of 60m2 a combination of slats and panels in various radii can be used to create a variety of finished effects.

New Zealand sourced timber options are Rimu , RewaRewa and Kahikatea.
