Why this product:

The Tonga Acoustic Tile is available in a range of sizes, giving creative flair and in this case a point of difference by spanning the width of the corridor in a single tile. This removes the main T from running the length of the corridor, breaking the traditional grid look and tile ceiling. Installation for this design is typically easy as it is supported primarily by the Peakform wall angle and there is no need for a suspension system fixed to the substrate above.

As a renovation of an existing building, some homework needed to be done by Forman Commercial Interiors to fix without any nogging at ceiling perimeter. Creatively fixing a wall angle upside down above the ceiling tile gave the support needed to fix to.

Colour coding levels or corridors allows for greater creativity, while achieving a high acoustic performance. The Tonga Tile can be ordered in a selection of over 40 colours (lead times and a single box minimum order quantity apply).
